Homeowners are often faced with a commitment catch-22 during construction projects: They can’t commit to a design without knowing cost details of the build phase, while in the old Design-Bid-Build model, cost information isn’t provided until after the completion of the design phase. The design-build approach solves this dilemma by providing project budgets to guide the design phase under the oversight and expertise of one company. You receive transparency in the work ahead and commit to only one phase at a time.
